SIU SDM Alum Earns National Dental Award

Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine alum Mark Hobbie DMD’15 is one of 19 dental school graduates nationwide to receive the 2015 Brian D. Stone Award. The award presented by the Dental Lifeline Network recognizes new dentists for their volunteerism and demonstrated efforts in helping people with special needs.

The American Dental Association announced the awardees and elaborated on their prestigious recognition in an article posted Monday.
