The SIUE Early Childhood Center presented the works of children ages 2-5 as part of Week of the Young Child.
The works of young artists between the ages of 2-5 from the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Early Childhood Center were featured in the second floor Morris University Center Art Gallery in April as part of an annual recognition of the Week of the Young Child.
The work of young artists from the SIUE ECC was featured during Week of the Young Child. The exhibit took place in the second floor art gallery in the Morris University Center.
The week is sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals. The SIUE ECC is one of only about 8 percent of all preschools and early childhood programs to achieved NAEYC accreditation.
