Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Dr. Earleen Patterson, director of the Student Opportunities for Academic Results (SOAR) Center, will keynote the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Day Program for the Edwardsville community beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15.
The program will take place at Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church, 327 Olive Street, in Edwardsville. It is free and open to the public.
The Edwardsville NAACP and Advantage NEWS detailed Patterson’s professional and personal achievements ahead of her keynote address.
