SIUE School of Engineering’s Celik Appears on “Green Radio”

Celik, an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, spoke about his highly successful Ilgaz Energy Symposium, which he first organized in 2017. The third annual Energy Symposium will be held in Spring 2019.

During the interview, Celik described various research topics being studied in SIUE’s School of Engineering, such as energy-efficient cooling technologies, building energy performance enhancement, green roofs and solar energy applications.

A new course offering this fall is Alternative Energy Systems, which Celik detailed, includes such topics as solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, nuclear, ocean and biomass.
