KMOX Radio Features Black’s Research on St. Louis Winter Drivers

Anyone connected with SIUE, who had to drive on area roadways during last Friday’s snowstorm, certainly has an opinion about St. Louis area drivers and their winter driving capabilities. KMOX Radio featured research from SIUE’s Alan Black, assistant professor of geography in the College of Arts and Sciences, who compared St. Louis to more than a dozen cities such as Minneapolis, Chicago, and Buffalo in the north, and southern cities like Little Rock and Atlanta. The results probably won’t surprise you.
