SIUE alumna Amy Golley is among the 2019 YWCA of Alton Women of Distinction honorees.
An Alton native, Adams earned a bachelor’s in special education in 2002 from SIUE. She has served the community through her work with a number of organizations, including the Elijah P. Lovejoy committee and the Empowered 2B Me program at Alton High School.
