Madison Communications has recognized four area educators through its “Teacher of the Year” program after a record 110 nominees garnered 15,000 online votes during a month-long period.
SIUE alumnus John Masinelli is among the award winners, and has received a pizza party and a $500 contribution to be used toward a student advancement project.
Masinelli is a high school business teacher at Staunton High School. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration/entrepreneurship from the SIUE School of Business in 2001.
