Nearly 200 community leaders and business people attended the ninth annual SIUE Day community event Thursday, Oct. 16, in the School of Engineering atrium.
Juneau Associates, Inc., sponsored the affair. Charles Juneau, president, and Bill Baudendistel, vice president, represented the firm. Twenty-five percent of Juneau Associates’ staff is comprised of SIUE alums.
Vice Chancellor for University Advancement Rachel Stack served as emcee. After SIUE Chancellor Julie Furst-Bowe welcomed the crowd and thanked them for their continued support, School of Engineering Dean Hasan Sevim addressed the gathering and conducted tours of the facility.
The event is designed as a networking opportunity for community business leaders allowing them to connect with key SIUE personnel and learn more ways to partner with the University.
