Signature Medical Group (SMG) has appointed SIUE alumna Lisa Hearn as its new chief financial officer (CFO). She earned a bachelor’s in accountancy from the SIUE School of Business in 1990 and became a certified public accountant shortly thereafter.
Hearn joined SMG in November 2017, and has served as assistant CFO. In her new role, she will oversee SMG’s entire financial operation. Current CFO Martin Zaegel will retire later this year.
Before joining SMG, Hearn served as CFO of Epworth Children & Family Services, Inc. Prior to Epworth, Hearn was revenue accounting manager at Perficient, Inc.
Hearn has served on the board of directors at CHADS Coalition for Mental Health since 2015 and has been a volunteer since 2008.
